Reid Room
Location
The Reid Room is situated just beyond the Adam Dome. The Room is named after the architect Robert Reid (1774-1856) who finished off the design of General Register House in the 1820's after original architect Robert Adam had died.Bookings

Facilities
There is also a stand alone computer in the Reid Room which has information not available on the other computers. Two adjustable desks suitable for wheelchair users are also in the Reid Room. If you would like to use one of these desks please book them before your visit to ensure they are available. There is also a microfiche/film reader which can be used to view film or fiche if the digitised image is of a very poor quality.
Assistance
There will be a supervisor in the Reid Room at all times who will be able to give you help and advice. You will also be able to pay for copies and book search places here.If you move past the supervisors desk through the corridor you will come to the Matheson Dome.
